These insights are derived from the Live and Invest Overseas’ 2021 Global Property Survey, an annual report that highlights the expenses involved in acquiring property in the world’s premier destinations for living or retiring abroad. The survey analyzes the cost of buying two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments, typically between 70 and 100 square meters (around 800 to 1,100 square feet), in areas that are appealing and comfortable for expat retirees.
